ANR Com2Sica
Mathematical modeling

This is an ANR (French National Research Agency) multidisciplinary project which gathers geographers, psychologists, mathematicians and computer scientists. It is called Com2Sica for "Understanding and simulation of human behaviors in catastrophic situations".
This research aims at quantifying the type and changing behaviors of humans in catastrophic situations like tsunami or industrial accidents. More precisely we divide these behaviors into three classes : panic, controlled or reflex behaviors. The transitions between these classes are modelled through a dynamical system inspired by epidemiological systems. The project began in october 2107 and lasts 42 months.

A description (in french) is given on the page Com2Sica
