Short biography
I entered the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) of Cachan in 1990 in the Applied Physics department (through the physics entrance examination). I hold a master's degree in Computer Science from ENS of Cachan and a teacher diploma in Physics (fully qualified teacher). I taught in the secondary sector during three years as a physics-chemistry teacher.
I have held a teacher Position since 1998 at the University of Nancy 2, assigned to develop e-learning technologies and projects.
Current Position
- crowd dynamics study
- dynamic graphs study

I entered the Ecole Normale Supérieure of Cachan in 1990 in the Applied Physics department (through the physics entrance examination) as a student teacher. There I spent 5 years including my national service, and I hold a master's degree in Computer Science from the ENS of Cachan and a teacher diploma in Physics (fully qualified teacher). Then I taught at secondary education during three years in physics-chemistry before coming to Nancy.
I have held a teacher Position since 1998 at the University of Nancy 2, assigned to develop e-learning technologies and projects. Actually I have mainly been working as a pedagogical engineer. My work in this field led me to think of human learning as a collective process and as a complex system taken as a whole.
At the same time I have been doing my research since 2005 on the study of collective behaviors within reactive multi-agent systems in an abstract way. This research is dedicated to the field of Swarm Intelligence and Complex Systems. The key concepts are based on synchronization processes occurring between chaotic agents and parametrized decentralized control in individuals. This work led me to achieve a PhD on these topics late 2009 (cf. Research).
My current position as assistant professor at University of Le Havre allows me to work half-time on my research on Swarm Intelligence and half-time on teaching.

My current position as assistant professor at University of Le Havre Normandie in computer science since 2011 allowed me to carry on my research as well as teach in higher education.
At the present time, my research is focused on :
- propagation of information on complex interaction networks
- cascading failure modeling
- reactive multi-agent systems for crowd modeling
- time series analysis by means of information theory tools
- crowd dynamics study
- emotional contagion/nervosity propagation modeling within crowds
My current position at University of Le Havre allows me to work half-time on my research on Swarm Intelligence and half-time on teaching as well as e-learning activities.
